Adroit Ballarat See Golf Day Donation in Action
Carly Hibbins, Managing Principal of Adroit Ballarat, and David Edwards, Strategic Partnership Manager, recently had the opportunity to visit the Special Care Nursery at Grampians Health Ballarat to see first hand the impact of funds raised through the 2025 Adroit Golf Day.
The visit was a special moment for the Adroit Ballarat team, as Carly and David were able to see one of the 21 Hi-Lo Cots donated to the nursery as a result of the Golf Day fundraising efforts. These cots will help support the care of newborns and their families, ensuring babies in our local community have access to important equipment when they need it most.
Adroit Ballarat was joined by members of the Ballarat Health Services Foundation Board, whose continued support plays a vital role in making these donations possible. Each year, the Foundation matches the funds raised through the Adroit Golf Day, significantly increasing the impact of the event and helping deliver meaningful outcomes for the Ballarat community.
Staff from the Special Care Nursery were also present during the visit, giving the Adroit team the chance to hear more about how the new cots will support the important work they do every day.
The previous cots have also been donated to East Timor, extending the benefit of this project beyond Ballarat and ensuring valuable equipment continues to support families and healthcare teams in another community.
During the visit, Carly and David also attended the Ballarat Health Services Foundation Board meeting, where they personally thanked the Board for their ongoing partnership and support.
For Adroit Ballarat, the partnership with Ballarat Health Services Foundation is deeply aligned with the team’s values. As Carly shared in her address to the Board, Adroit believes in creating community equality and ensuring that every child has access to the best possible services and equipment, regardless of whether they access care through the public health system.
The 2025 Golf Day donation is another example of what can be achieved when local businesses, community partners, healthcare professionals, and supporters come together with a shared goal.
