Adroit Geelong Proud to Support Lazarus Community Centre
At Adroit Geelong, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. Every fortnight, a few of our team members volunteer their time at Lazarus Community Centre, helping to prepare and serve meals for those doing it tough.
Volunteering at Lazarus is a hands-on way for our staff to contribute to a cause they care deeply about — providing dignity, support, and a warm welcome to people experiencing homelessness or hardship in our community.
Lazarus is more than just a place to grab a meal. It’s a safe and welcoming space where visitors can take a shower, wash and dry their clothes, enjoy a light lunch, take part in activities, meet with volunteers, and connect with specialist homelessness support staff. Everyone is welcome at Lazarus, no matter their situation.
Our Adroit Geelong team is proud to stand alongside the amazing staff and volunteers at Lazarus, who work tirelessly to make a real difference in the lives of so many. It’s a small way we can give back — and an experience that leaves a lasting impact on all of us who participate.
The Lazarus Community Centre relies on the kindness of volunteers and community donations to keep its doors open and its services running. Being part of this effort reminds us all how important it is to look out for one another.
