Community, Connection and a Huge $100K Geelong Win on the Green
The sun was shining, the wind was up, and the energy was electric as we teed off for the 22nd Annual Adroit Geelong Charity Golf Day – and what a day it was!
Held at the stunning 13th Beach Golf Links, this year’s event brought together more than just great golfers – it united community-minded people, businesses and organisations committed to making a difference right here in Geelong.
A Powerful Partnership for Impact
In partnership with the Geelong Community Foundation, we were proud to raise a massive $100,000 to support local causes.
Of this total, $75,000 was awarded to Cultura through our Capital Grant Program to help upgrade their computer lab – a vital step towards creating a tech hub that offers accessible digital skills, education, and connection for culturally diverse communities in our region.
The remaining funds will go directly to the Geelong Community Foundation, enabling them to continue the outstanding work they do across the wider community.
Technology That Opens Doors
Access to technology is more important than ever. With this funding, Cultura can equip their upgraded computer lab with the tools and infrastructure needed to empower individuals of all backgrounds with digital literacy and confidence. It’s about more than computers – it’s about inclusion, opportunity and creating a future where no one gets left behind.
