Members of Adroit’s Gippsland team recently attended the NTI Accident Assist Showcase at Truckrite’s heavy vehicle repair facility in Dandenong.

The event provided a behind-the-scenes look at what happens after a truck accident, from the initial recovery through to repairs and getting the vehicle back on the road.

A highlight was a tipped truck and trailer recovery demonstration, where the vehicle was safely recovered and returned to its wheels. The demonstration showcased the skill, planning and specialised equipment required to manage these incidents.

The team also toured Truckrite’s workshop, Victoria’s largest heavy vehicle repair facility, spanning more than six acres. The site features advanced diagnostic technology, specialised repair equipment and dedicated respray and drying facilities.

Presentations from NTI, AAA Towing Services and Truckrite explored how their teams work together to respond quickly to incidents, minimise downtime and support drivers throughout the recovery and repair process.

The experience strengthened the team’s understanding of the services and expertise available to support Adroit’s transport clients when accidents occur.
