Making a Difference: How Adroit Ballarat’s Golf Day Supports the Children’s Ward
At Adroit, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. Our Ballarat team is proud to play a role in improving healthcare for local families through our annual Adroit Ballarat Charity Golf Day—a fundraising event that directly benefits the Children’s Ward at Ballarat Base Hospital.
Real Impact, Real Change
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the funds we raise go towards essential medical equipment—often for items that have no or limited budget allocation. This means our contributions help provide critical tools that otherwise wouldn’t be readily available.
Delivering Life-Saving Equipment
Our 2024 Ballarat Golf Day funding recently arrived in the form of three new Cannular Devices from Germany, ensuring that infants receive the best possible care. This follows the two Resuscitation Cots purchased with funds from our 2023 event—equipment that is already making a tangible difference.
During a recent visit to the hospital, Jo, the Nurse Unit Manager of the Special Care Nursery, shared just how transformative these donations have been. She explained that the new equipment has revolutionised infant care, particularly in emergency situations—giving medical staff the tools they need to provide lifesaving treatment when it matters most.
